About the Role

The Estimator role is expected to be responsible for communicating with clients, design professionals, vendors and other contractors to develop accurate and winning bids for presentation.
The Estimator is also expected to propose solutions to pricing and design challenges, and to offer value engineering opinions and potential creative solutions when necessary.
As Estimator, one is expected to be able to effectively communicate with key members of the Installation Team, including Department and Project Managers, Foremen and Contract Administrator, to convey detailed conditions and bid parameters of any awarded projects, to ensure a smooth and accurate transfer of won bids into production.
Additionally the Estimator will need to maintain awareness of client expectations during production mode and remain available to assist with potential change orders, and assist with maintaining positive customer experience with our products and services, as a means to maximize client satisfaction and retention.
5-10 years Experience (Estimation, Landscape Construction, Design)
Design , General Construction, Landscape Construction and management training and/or advanced related degree
Experience initiating and developing project takeoffs, and full landscape estimation process, including site evelaution, labor and materials analysis, and vendor relationaships, data and catalog management.
Have demonstable understanding of full landscape construction cycle and bidding processes.
Must be able to initiate and maintaind positive relationships and interactions with project architects and designers. clients, subcontractors, and project managers.
Familiarity with Sage 100, e-Takeoff, Bluebeam, AutoCAD and other Related Software
Sussessful candiate must have landscape construction, management, or design experience
Must have own vehicle
All applicants must have a valid California Drivers License for a minimum of 3-years,with no major infractions.
